I thought it ain’t shit but another scrappy Ford…
Till I went to watch the Drag Strip
    Than I said…Well ah be Damn (:

  • theheronation227 says:

    Dear ford…

  • MagicAyrtonforever says:

It’s a Porsche engine, what do you expect. Ford think themselves equal to the Japanese.. when clearly there engines are out of date.. you fail.

  • ncaatrackstar says:

All I can say is WOW!!!!!! Geez…..

  • garymofo2 says:

    damn i want one..

  • Anthony2012c says:

    I have a viper

  • MagicAyrtonforever says:

I don’t, have fun in your gas guzzler!

  • 851995STARGATE says:

    I doubt it.

  • MagicAyrtonforever says:

I may have failed but that’s why I’m driving a $100,000 car. Stop being so picky, no one cares anymore.

  • 851995STARGATE says:

Really? I looked up the mods he put on the, steeda intake with the tune alone would have given him 44hp and 52ft/lbs of torque minimum I have seen the dyno runs to prove it, and the magnaflow exhaust would give you about 17 horsepower according to the magnaflow dyno chart, therefore if you do the math your only making 473 hp at the crank, where did you get the extra 29 hp? Did you add other performance mods? Maybe a throttle body and an intake manifold upgrade could get you the extra 29 to 502

  • 851995STARGATE says:

You have failed, the engine doesn’t make 400 hp now it makes 420 hp, and in the boss 302 it makes loser to 430 hp, and you can not compare the nissans 3.7 V6 to a 5.0 V8, the engine is new and is sure to get closer and closer to 500 hp in the years to come also the 3.7 makes less horsepower then the 3.4, therefore you are talking complete nonsense

  • BMan100 says:

well nothing worse now than seeing the car you were going to by on AutoTrader heart still hurts over that..

  • Mr2013GT says:

The Mustang has never been a sports car, it’s ridiculous to even suggest it, and are you honestly trying to say that after a cold air intake/tune and exhaust, you have a Coyote 5.0 with 502 flywheel horsepower?

    That’s quite literally, not possible.

CAI/tune will gain a Coyote a maximum of around 30 hp / 20 foot-lbs, and a competition catback will free up a few horses. That brings 412 hp to just under 450, putting down 400 @ wheels. Comparitively, a 470 hp 392 hemi puts down 420/430 @ wheels.

  • ALPHADOG3 says:

roush lol, money well wasted, and since when is the mustang not a sports car? I own a 2011 5.0, steeda C.A.I Magnaflow, 3″ competition, SCT tune, have 502HP at the crank. I basically said the xeon headlights, (small) and no hood scoop (even though non functional) basically the car in the vid looks bad. I have heated seats, dash, and interior lights, steering, aluminum rims, dash is carbon fibre fake, everything you mentioned, all I was saying is that is ugly stang.

  • Mr2013GT says:

I traded my 2012 for a 2013 because the 2013 is a better package. Heat extractors to help keep the engine cool, better aerodynamics, I got the LCD screen with temp/pressure readouts and track apps, I got 3.73′s instead of 3.31′s like my 2012 had, and I got the Brembo brake package, which I found out includes alot more than brakes. It includes wider, “summer-only” 255 width P ZERO’s, stiffer shocks/struts/springs, GT500 lower control arms for wheel hop and unique sport steering calibration.

  • BMan100 says:

then why did you get rid of your first 5.0? and I know where the mustangs are made, but thats not the point, WHY use a tremec is the gt500 and not the rest of the line up, just to save a few bucks? but enough point is that I love the new mustang but my heart just broke when I heard about that china crap.

  • MagicAyrtonforever says:

500 bhp in a mustang is asking for trouble.

  • Mr2013GT says:

Both of my 5.0′s were assembled in Flat Rock, Michigan.

I used every bit of that 412 hp, and I use every bit of my 420 hp. The MT-82′s are solid. I’ve had no issues whatsoever, and I drive them hard. The one I traded in felt brand new.

Some mass-produced cars are going to have faulty parts. Some of the new camaro transmissions won’t even go into 2nd gear, or grind heavily going into all gears. They’ve also been known to snap their rear suspension on a hard launch, so have the challengers.

  • BMan100 says:

well after that 26,000 unit investigation in the states I just a bit well..WORRIED to say the least. I mean what good is 412 HP if you can’t use it… and I found that out 2 weeks before the car arrived. so I pulled out because ford didn’t give me an explanation on anything. so I told them to take a hike. and besides being made built in China.. isn’t something i’d want on my car, no offence but no thanks there. I saw my car being built at the Brampton plant ( joy for me)

  • Mr2013GT says:

I haven’t had any issues with the MT-82 and i’m on my second standard coyote 5.0 Mustang. The Gears are made in Slovakia, and the design is capable of easy 10′s all day long in the 5.0′s, handling 600-700 hp.

I think any problems people are having are caused during assembly. It’s not the design or the materials.

Getrag has supplied GM, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Toyota, Mitsubishi, VW, Jaguar and DODGE RAMS, DAKOTAS AND CHRYSLER PT CRUISERS too. ;)

  • Mr2013GT says:

This isn’t supposed to be a sports car, it’s a fast, affordable, two-door, four-seat American muscle car. What else to you want in the interior, anyway? You can have heated leather seats, you can have the dashboard/gauges/steering wheel trimmed in aluminum, the dash itself is a soft roam-rubber type of material, you can have ambient lighting and colored gauges, all 2013′s come with functional engine heat extractors and 420 hp too, and if you want a non-functional hood scoop, get a Roush.

  • Mr2013GT says:

American cars are just a platform to build upon. People are surpassing your magic “437″ hp in these 5.0′s with just a cold air intake/tune. Boss manifold and exhaust on top of that and you’re talking just under 500 hp, and because of the Boss manifold’s short runners, the power won’t start to drop off until damn near 8,000 rpm, that’s with stock heads/cams.

Camshafts are a great option too (coyote NSR) considering even stage 2 would easily bump a bolt-ons 5.0 to over 500 hp, stock heads.

  • Richard Steele says:

ha only $10,000 plus. Love to but no.
