The radio is different. It is a cassette and CD player style.
I have gm radio and i press and hold the 3 and 4 button and nothing happens. can you make a video with the GMC/Chevy raido?

I think when inop is displayed means that too many incorrect codes were put in. Try waiting for an hour, (leaving the power on) and try again. Thanks!

Your dealer should be able to unlock that MP3 radio with the tech2. I put the same sunfire radio in my old grand am (2002) and had to do this.

I have a 1997 camaro that i put a replacement radio out of the same year camaro (same radio) ( both theftlock equipeed radios). I never got a LOC screen, the radio powers up, you can change the channel, play a cd. The thing is, is that there is no sound when all this is happening?? Any tips or advise would be great! Thanks!

Are these radios connected in any way to the onboard computer? I bought an 04 Sunfire radio with MP3, but the dealers said it would not be recognized in my 03 Grand Prix. I have the adapter already put together.
I got the first set but when I press AM/FM nothing happens. Whats up with that.
