Yes absolutely, they should have, but I guess they wanted to keep the cost down. It’s a shame

  • Billydexd says:

They should have kept the rear air vents and the hydraulic truck lifts, huh? what do you think?

  • tootsiejoon says:

    No Jetta have power seats

  • Billydexd says:

does it have a power adjustable seat or a manual one?

  • Shaurya Gautam says:

I meant the european version. and here is UK.

  • Myaccountbastards says:

Weres here? and it depends on what package you get

  • hcoopervw says:

  • g93v says:

     haha ;D

  • StressFreeWorldWide says:

can it run on cooking oil?

  • Shaurya Gautam says:

I don’t know whats wrong with VW USA but we here get all the goodies and soft touch interior. Maybe its the price issue. . .

  • CuteThieffy says:

was it supposed to be a joke that u had to laugh? You must consider yourself as being really mature.

  • Bob Loblaw says:

Please explain the problems and which parts fail. I plan on getting a new jetta this year, would be good to know.

  • azfiandazfar says:

did i talk to you bitch? goi lick a bone hahahahahah

  • CuteThieffy says:

how is it shit? It looks way better than what the corolla has.

  • steve9509 says:

I am talking about the new ones

  • yellofury says:

you are right it is nice to see VW competing with Toyota and Honda at the price point
I just wished the interiors were as slick as the 4th gen vehicles….but I guess simple economics of scale compromises certain details like goose neck trunklids vs hydraulic and hood props vs hydraulics… no biggie
considering that Jettas are around the 15 grand mark nowadays..but I think VW needs to compete in interior details against competitors like Hyundai which is really stepping up

  • Bob Loblaw says:

    I have a 96 jetta with nearly 300’000 kms and it’s still running fine…

  • Bob Loblaw says:

You do realize they downgraded the passat and jetta because they are expanding their lineup, right? The CC replaced the passat as the luxury car. Why would vw have 2 luxury full size sedans? They would be competing with themselves. The jetta they made cheaper so more people could afford it which is a good move. They have other cars they plan on bringing into the lineup. The 2012 passat is still nice.

  • azfiandazfar says:

    woiw interiors so shitttt

  • yellofury says:

Its nice and all but I think VW starting going downhill when they purposely started to cheap out their cars interiors because it was infringing upon their Audi stablemates
The 4th gen Jetta and Passat were almost luxurious ……..this car isnt bad but I think it is less exciting in execution than say the 2011 Hyundai Elantra
which is something I thought I would never say in my life
The Koreans are hungry for the market and I hope it spurs other auto makers to kickstart their design dynamics

  • steve9509 says:

@austinman1995 …what does that have anything to do with it? money is money

  • nomainreason says:

2.5 ? what’s the matter..? you guys don’t have big taxes for big engines?(emmisionssss)?

  • Gregory Perkins says:

ya corolla you are man. i dont thinks its plain i think its simplified elegance and beauty.
